Hong Kong Investment Corporation Limited issues invitation for proposals regarding design and build services (April 2026)

(Hong Kong, 17 April) The Hong Kong Investment Corporation Limited (“HKIC”) today issues invitation for tender proposals regarding design and build services for the HKIC’s existing office and a temporary office (the “Service”).  

The Service is required on a one-off basis, with the contract period commencing from the date of contract award and continuing until the completion of all fitting-out works, including any necessary testing, commissioning and final client sign-off.  The contract shall be deemed complete only upon the issuance of a formal completion certificate or written acceptance by the HKIC. 

Interested tenderers may request an electronic copy of the tender document by emailing [email protected]. The request must include the company name and the name and contact details of the correspondence person.

Tender proposals must be submitted via email to [email protected] only no later than 5:00pm of 1 May 2026 (Hong Kong Time). Submissions sent or copied to other HKIC email addresses will be disqualified.

Late or incomplete submissions, or proposals submitted via links to public or private cloud storages (e.g. Google drive, Dropbox) will not be considered. 

In the event that Tropical Cyclone Signal No.8 or above, a Black Rainstorm Warning, or “Extreme Conditions” announced by the HKSAR Government is in force at any time between 9:00 am to 12:00 noon on the tender closing date, the closing time will be extended to 12:00 noon on the next business day on which none of the above warnings remain in force.

The HKIC is not bound to accept any proposal it may receive and reserves the right to negotiate with any tenderer on the terms and conditions of the contract.
