The Hong Kong Investment Corporation Limited (“HKIC”) is dedicated to contributing to the future development of Hong Kong by identifying investment opportunities and strategically promoting the development of target industries, so as to enhance the long-term competitiveness and economic vitality of Hong Kong while generating investment return. It is wholly owned by the HKSAR Government, and consolidates the management of the investment activities of the Hong Kong Growth Portfolio, Greater Bay Area Investment Fund, Strategic Tech Fund, and the Co-Investment Fund. The HKIC is dedicated to inspiring and nurturing young talents, encouraging them to share their forward-looking vision and supporting their development for becoming an integral force in driving Hong Kong’s future development. This full-time internship programme (the “Programme”) is designed for tertiary students who are eager to learn and passionate about contributing to Hong Kong’s future. The Programme offers an opportunity for young talents to be part of the HKIC’s growth journey and participate in the synergistic development of Hong Kong’s financial and innovation & technology sectors, collectively building cases of investment with “roots in Hong Kong, support by our country and interface with the world”.
The Programme will commence in December 2026 for a duration of 4 to 6 weeks. Successful applicants will be assigned to one of the following departments:
- Investment Department
- Risk and Compliance Department
- Legal Department
Requirements
- Undergraduate or postgraduate students, with priority given to those studying in tertiary institutions in Hong Kong.
- Good understanding of the HKSAR Basic Law
- Aligned with the HKIC’s vision and committed to contributing to Hong Kong’s future development
- Strong sense of integrity, intellectual curiosity and open-mindedness in embracing diversity
- Good team player and willing to take on new challenges and share ideas
- Attention to detail and strong analytical ability
- Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English
- Strong computer literacy including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing
Remuneration Package
The monthly fixed pay of interns is HK$11,800.

Applicants may wish to submit their applications in advance of the deadline to avoid unexpected delays, e.g. heavy internet traffic, file size restrictions and system maintenance downtime. Those not contacted by the HKIC within two months from the closing date for applications should consider their applications filed not accepted.
