Senior Officer (Corporate Affairs)

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct procurement exercises for the Corporate Affairs Team, including but not limited to preparing Request for Proposal documents, evaluating proposals and coordinating vendor appointments or terminations
  • Support procurement activities of other user departments and serve as a procurement representative to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures
  • Manage and update the supplier database, monitor vendor performance and conduct regular reviews to ensure service quality
  • Provide day-to-day office administration support, including monitoring and replenishing office supplies, coordinating maintenance and repair works, and liaising with estate management and office security
  • Perform other assigned duties as required

Requirements

  • University degree with good academic results
  • At least 3 years of solid experience in procurement and office administration work
  • Good understanding of the Basic Law of the HKSAR
  • Committed to contributing to the future development of Hong Kong and achieving the HKIC’s objectives
  • Strong sense of integrity and professional ethics
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven negotiation and communication abilities
  • Logical, attentive to detail and able to multitask under pressure
  • Good command of written Chinese and English
  • Willing to work outside normal office hours as and when required

 

(Candidates with less experience may be considered for an offer of appointment at Officer level.)
