Director (Finance)

The Hong Kong Investment Corporation Limited (“HKIC”) is dedicated to contributing to the future development of Hong Kong by identifying investment opportunities and strategically promoting the development of target industries, so as to enhance the long-term competitiveness and economic vitality of Hong Kong while generating investment return. It is wholly owned by the HKSAR Government, and consolidates the management of the investment activities of the Hong Kong Growth Portfolio, Greater Bay Area Investment Fund, Strategic Tech Fund, and the Co-Investment Fund. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the finance and treasury functions, including financial and treasury reporting, accounting operations, treasury management, tax filings and regulatory submissions
- Lead budgeting and cash flow forecasting, and provide strategic financial insights to support corporate initiatives and business development
- Present key financial data to senior management including financial results, treasury performance metrics, cash flow forecasts and corporate budgets
- Coordinate effectively with external auditors, tax advisers, financial service providers and regulatory authorities
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, audit guidelines and corporate governance requirements
- Establish and maintain relevant policies and procedural manuals, and internal control frameworks
- Perform other assigned duties as required
Requirements
- University degree in accounting, finance or related fields
- Professional accounting qualifications such as HKICPA, ACCA or equivalent
- At least 12 years of relevant work experience. Prior experience within reputable financial institutions, asset management firms or Big 4 accounting firms is a plus
- Good knowledge of financial governance frameworks, accounting standards, and treasury products
- Good understanding of the Basic Law of the HKSAR
- Committed to contributing to the future development of Hong Kong and achieving the HKIC’s objectives
- Strong sense of integrity and professional ethics
- Proven track record of building and leading a team of finance professionals
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented, resilient and able to handle multiple tasks under pressure
- Good team player, willing to take on new challenges and share ideas
- Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English
Remuneration Package
