Manager (Finance)

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out treasury and cash flow management related activities including portfolio management and monitoring, liquidity projections, payment and settlement executions, and other follow-up work
  • Maintain accurate records of treasury transactions and ensure timely reconciliation of treasury position and relevant financial data with accounting record
  • Ensure compliance with relevant policies, regulations, internal controls, and audit requirements
  • Liaise with internal and external counterparts on issues relating to treasury and cash flow management and related activities
  • Perform treasury portfolio analysis for senior management review, including performance review, scenario and sensitivity analysis, stress testing, counterparty credit evaluations and cash flow analysis for an optimised capital structure
  • Conduct research for capital market trends, interest rate movements and foreign exchange exposures
  • Perform other assigned duties as required

Requirements

  • University degree with at least 6 years of solid work experience in corporate treasury, liquidity risk management, market risk management in financial institutions or relevant professional firms
  • Strong understanding of multiple products across asset classes and front to back knowledge of trade lifecycle is a plus
  • Skilled in analytics tools (e.g. Bloomberg, treasury management systems)
  • Good understanding of the Basic Law of the HKSAR
  • Committed to contributing to the future development of Hong Kong and achieving the HKIC’s objectives
  • Strong sense of integrity and professional ethics
  • Attention to details and high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to handle multi-tasks under pressure
  • Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English
  • Willing to work outside normal office hours as and when required

 

(Candidates with less experience may be considered for an offer of appointment at Senior Officer / Officer level.)
